1. What is included in our charter?

Each charter includes all fuel costs and charter fees for a great time on the water. The captain is included with trips of 6 or less. Any charter with more than 6 guests must pay an additional $70 per hour (NOT per person) upon arrival for their time. We also include blankets, life jackets, safety gear, sunscreen, waters and even a float pad to relax on in the water.

2. What activities do charter guests participate in?

Guests can plan ahead with our concierge staff to tailor their excursion. Families with kids of all ages, couples, and groups can schedule their charter to fit their needs. Activities offered include snorkeling and swimming. The vessel is equipped with a Bluetooth stereo for enjoying your playlist. If you desire anything not listed mention it to us and we will try to work with you so that you have the best experience possible.

3. Is Baywatch Boat Charters good for celebrations?

Yes! Let us know if you are celebrating and we will make your occasion special.

4. Will we see dolphins or whales?

Although dolphins and whales are a common sight along the coastline and we always do our best to find them, we cannot guarantee that nature will cooperate on the day of your charter. We recommend at least a 3 hour trip to have time outside of the harbor.

5. What is Emerald Bay?

Emerald Bay is one of Southern California hidden treasures. Located in Laguna Beach California, just a 20-minute boat ride from Newport Harbor it provides the perfect scenic route to reach a beautiful destination. Nestled in the crooks of two large cliffs, Emerald Bay is a little stretch of coastline only accessible by boat to non-residents. The bay boasts beautiful calm water, reef snorkeling, and pristine views. BayWatch Boat Charters is the only charter service that offers the amazing Emerald Bay excursion.

6. What is your cancellation policy?

All charters must be canceled at least 5 days in advance to receive an 80% refund. Charters may be re-scheduled up to 24 hours prior to departure if availability permits. Unfortunately, charters not canceled at least 5 days in advance are non-refundable. Unsafe weather is taken into consideration.

7. What form of payment do you accept?

All major credit cards are accepted. Payment is taken when the reservation is booked online. We also Accept Zelle and Venmo for easy payment options. Paying the captain upon arrival must be paid in cash, venmo or zelle.

8. What should I wear and bring?

If you plan on swimming, wear a swimsuit and bring a change of clothes. Sunscreen and towels are recommended. It's is best to bring a windbreaker or sweatshirt to stay comfortable as lake Tahoe can get cold in the spring and fall months. Leave behind any valuables as we are not responsible for damaged or lost belongings.

9. What if it is rainy or rough?

If we must cancel your excursion due to weather, our team will contact you as early as possible. We’d love to reschedule your reservation, although if it doesn't work out, a full refund will be granted. If you’re visiting from out of town, it’s best to schedule your charter at the beginning of your vacation. That way in the event of a weather cancellation, your excursion may be rescheduled to another beautiful day while you’re still in town!

10. What if I get sick?

Our boats are among the most seaworthy of vessels. They are extremely stable with a very smooth and relaxing ride. Although, it is always a good idea to bring motion sickness medicine.

11. Is it customary to tip the crew?

Just like others in the service industry, the BayWatch Boat Charter Crew works very hard to tailor each excursion to best suit every party in order to create a memorable experience.

Lake Tahoe

1. What is included in our charter?

We also include blankets, life jackets, safety gear, sunscreen, waters and even a float pad to relax on in the water.

2. What activities do charter guests participate in?

Activities offered include snorkeling, swimming and lounging in the water on our float ring. The vessel is equipped with a Bluetooth stereo for enjoying your playlist. If you desire anything not listed mention it to us and we will try to work with you so that you have the best experience possible.

3. Is Baywatch Boat Charters good for celebrations?

Yes! Bachelorette, bachelor trips, birthdays, anniversaries and anything you can celebrate is a great time on the water with us.

4. What's not allowed?

NO MORE THAN 10 GUESTS. We appreciate no shoes on the seats and recommend not bringing big coolers as it can take up space on the boat. You may bring vapes but no cigarettes or drugs are allowed onboard.

5. What is Emerald Bay?

In 1969, Emerald Bay was designated a National Natural Landmark for its brilliant panorama of mountain-building processes and glacier carved granite. This bay is on of the most popular destinations on the lake and is a great place to swim and enjoy crystal clear waters. All of our tours include a trip to Emerald Bay if desired by guests. We recommend at least 3 hours if you want to enjoy swimming and lounging on our float pad.
